Can WPC fluted panels be installed with adhesive only?
A compatible construction adhesive can work on a clean, flat and stable interior wall. Mechanical fasteners or a combined method may be better on uneven surfaces, high-traffic walls or where the substrate needs extra holding power.
What is the best way to cut WPC fluted panels?
Use a fine-tooth saw blade suitable for composite material. Support the panel fully, mark the finished face carefully and test the cut on an offcut before cutting visible pieces.
Do I need to level the wall before installation?
Yes. Correct loose material and major high or low spots first. A flat surface keeps the flutes straight, improves adhesive contact and prevents visible gaps between panels.
How do I install around outlets and switches?
Turn off and verify the circuit before working. Measure from fixed reference lines, cut the opening carefully and keep the required clearance for the electrical box and cover plate. Electrical changes should be completed by a qualified electrician.
When should I install trims and corners?
Plan trims before the first panel is fixed. Depending on the trim profile, it may need to be installed first or fitted as the panels progress. Dry-fit every corner and end detail before applying adhesive.
Can WPC fluted panels be used in a bathroom?
They may be suitable for selected dry or splash-prone locations when the product, adhesive, sealing and ventilation are appropriate. Decorative panels do not replace an approved waterproof wall system in a shower or other continuously wet area.
Should the panels acclimate indoors?
Store the panels flat, dry and in normal indoor conditions before installation. Avoid fitting material immediately after exposure to extreme cold, heat or moisture, and follow the product-specific instructions.
When is professional installation recommended?
Use a professional for complex corners, tall walls, difficult substrates, wet areas, extensive electrical cut-outs or projects where local requirements or site conditions are uncertain.
